He credited the UK’s system which highly regards the efforts made by employees and enables him to fund his education as the reason for his favorable circumstances.

During an interview, Lincoln Bamfo, a Ghanaian resident in the UK, disclosed that he makes an annual income of over £45,000 (equivalent to N25.7 million) as a bus driver. He mentioned that he had attended both Accra Polytechnic and Accra Technical University before moving to London, where he now lives.

Bamfo attributed his success to the UK’s system that places value on workers’ contributions and enables him to pay for his education.

He also emphasized that Ghanaian drivers are inadequately trained after obtaining their license, unlike in the UK, where he receives refresher courses or a week of training every five years.
