Tolani Baj, a reality television personality and disc jockey from Nigeria, has clarified her remarks regarding the taboo topic of men and club dancing.

Tolani Baj said she did not mean people couldn’t dance or have a good time at clubs; she only meant they had to do it moderately in an interview with media personality Jermaine on his podcast, BTS Reality.

She revealed that she had noticed a pattern in the violent behavior of poor guys in Nigerian bars.

“If you’re going to have fun, don’t do too much,” she said. Be swaggery, cool with it, and avoid being rude.

“That says volumes when you already know you’re what you claim to be and you don’t feel the need to prove anything to the club. Moneyed men dislike being the center of attention.

“I already know you’re broke if you’re doing the gra-gra in the club to attract attention.”
