The locals allege that the firefighters came to the location after the flames had already been extinguished.

A fire broke out at the renowned Ojoto market situated on Azikiwe Street Mile 2 Diobu in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, on the evening of Thursday, April 13. The blaze caused extensive damage to properties valued at millions of Naira.

As of now, the root cause of the inferno is not known and remains to be determined.

The local residents have made allegations that the firefighters arrived at the location only after the fire had been successfully extinguished.
