An extremely shocking event involves the death of a police officer in Lagos.

The cop was killed on Wednesday afternoon at Cele Bus Stop on the Oshodi-Apapa Expressway in Lagos as a result of a fight with Okada riders, who ride commercial motorcycles.

The Nation learned that three rifles stolen from police officers were also carted off by the enraged Okada riders.

The Okada motorcyclists, who numbered around 100, started running toward Mile 2’s end shortly after the officer was killed.

They were armed with cutlasses, daggers, large sticks, and other weaponry, as seen by the nation.

They were rushing at oncoming traffic and pedestrians.

Many retreated to their heels to escape being attacked by the motorcyclists brandishing weapons.

The Nation observed a police convoy that had seemingly been strengthened to fight the Okada riders.

The Okada riders were being pursued by the police, who were in about six cars, in the direction of Mile 2.
