Blessing  Nkiruka Okoro, a contentious relationship counselor who was detained on suspicion of cyberbullying, has been granted bail by a Federal High Court in Lagos.

Blessing Okoro had been charged by the Nigeria Police Force on six counts, including cyberbullying, libel, and showing uncensored films, before Justice Yelim Bogoro of the Federal High Court.

According to SaharaReporters, Blessing Okoro’s attorney submitted a request for parole on her behalf before Justice Tijjani Ringim of the Federal High Court in Lagos on Tuesday, April 4.

The article also stated that the authorities did not object to the bail application.

The police requested that the judge exercise his discretion with regard to bail requirements.

In the absence of a challenge, the judge gave bail to Blessing CEO.

She was granted two N10 million release bonds with two sureties, each of the same amount.
