The Zazu crooner was arraigned for allegedly assaulting a policeman, resisting arrest and assaulting one of his followers.

After failing to adhere to the terms of his bail, Nigerian singer Portable was observed being returned to the Nigerian Correctional Centre in Ilaro, Yewa South Local Government Area of Ogun State.

Remember that he was arraigned today and given bail, but he was unable to abide by the parole requirements.

He was reportedly charged with assaulting a police officer, fighting arrest, and assaulting one of his supporters.

He was given bail for all three of the charges against him today, April 3, in the amount of N800,000. He also had two sureties posted security in the same amount.

The two sureties, who must live within the Ifo court’s jurisdiction, must also be landowners, according to a decision made by Magistrate A.S. Soneye.

However, when the court hearing was over, Portable was removed by guards from the detention facility and placed in a prison vehicle that was going to Ilaro.

There are rumors that the performer still needs to adjust his bail requirements.

Until his attorneys submit the necessary documents for his bail, he will remain in prison detention.

The matter of Portable will be heard again on April 26, 2023.
