He has revealed that the Biafra agitator is receiving therapy for an ear infection related to tinnitus.
Ejiofor said this while pointing out that Kanu’s legal team was taking advantage of every obstacle to get Kanu his independence back.
He revealed this following the typical conference that Kanu and his legal team had on Monday in Abuja while Kanu was under the Department of State Services’ (DSS) custody.
Ejiofor made the following statement, in part: “While efforts have been aggressively intensified for best results, Onyendu was impressed with the success reports, especially in regard to UmuChineke, whose bail was secured in court last week.

Onyendu is still being treated at the DSS facility for the newly discovered tinnitus ear infection, which will need advanced medical care.
